Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

In addition to your benefits plan, you will also have access to the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP), administered by Sparrow, at no extra charge. 

Your EFAP provides immediate and confidential support for any work, health, or personal concerns—anytime, anywhere. 

Understanding Your EFAP 

Your Employee and Family Assistance Program is a confidential and voluntary support service designed to help you navigate life’s challenges at any stage. You and your immediate family members (as defined in your benefits plan) can access professional guidance in a way that best suits your needs, preferences, and lifestyle. 

No Cost to You 

EFAP services are included in your benefits package at no additional cost. You may receive a series of counseling sessions with a professional, and if longer-term or specialized support is needed, our experts can refer you to an appropriate specialist or service. While fees for additional services are your responsibility, they may be covered by your provincial or organizational health plan. 

Confidentiality 

Your privacy is our priority. The EFAP is completely confidential within the limits of the law. No one will know you have accessed the program unless you choose to share that information.
